Advisory

This is not consulting.

It is independent examination before commitment. The work focuses not only on the decision in front of you, but on the environment shaping how that decision is being understood in the first place.

Before strategy comes interpretation

Important decisions do not arrive in neutral environments. They arrive surrounded by assumptions, incentives, precedent, institutional pressures, expert opinions, language, expectations, incomplete information, and existing narratives.

Those forces influence what appears relevant, which alternatives appear realistic, which questions get asked - and sometimes what decision people believe they are making.

That is the layer this work examines.

The boundary

I work with a limited number of people. I do not optimize plans. I do not provide generic strategy. I do not make decisions for clients. If the structure itself feels unclear, that’s where I tend to be useful: are we sure we understand the situation correctly? And sometimes: are we sure this is even the decision?

The objective is not to make the decision for you. It is to improve the environment in which you make it.
